Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival 2018 - Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 May 2018 , 10am – 6pm

Queen’s Quay, Donegall Quay and Titanic Quarter

Ahoy there land lovers and seafarers. Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival returns this weekend with a treasure trove of family fun and frolics for you.

Climb aboard some magnificent visiting Tall Ships and learn more about life at sea. And enjoy a bounty of activity including live music, maritime themed arts and crafts, roving performers and mu

There’ll be local and international food on sale and you can enjoy a leisurely picnic on the grass, or a drink in the Quayside Bar.

Sail on down to Titanic Quarter to explore the city’s spectacular waterfront heritage; enjoy the local Titanic Street Food Market, Big Titanic Pop-up Picnic, live music, maritime walking and photo tours, interactive exhibits including traditional boat making demos, roving performers, flash mobs and lots more.

And new for this year is the ‘Maritime Mile’, an animated family trail running 11am to 3pm each day. Pick up a map at Donegall Quay and follow the trail along the new Titanic walkway to explore the city’s maritime and industrial history, including one of the world’s largest and rarest lighthouse optics, ‘The Great Light’, HMS Caroline and Titanic’s Dock and Pump House. Answer the clues with help of characters along the way and be in with a chance to win a treasure trove of Titanic Quarter goodies.

HMS Caroline will be open to visitors with lots of exciting activities for the young and the young at heart.

How to get there

This year, the gateway to the festival begins at Donegall Quay (beside the Big Fish). We recommend arriving on foot so you can enjoy the attractions along the way.

Parking

There’s no dedicated car parking for the event, so we encourage you to use city centre car parks and on street parking. There are also car parks along Queen’s Road in Titanic Quarter.

‘The Wee Tram’

Get around Titanic Quarter using the free ‘Wee Tram’. Running throughout the festival from the Arc, along Queen’s Road to HMS Caroline and Titanic’s Dock and Pump House.
