Do you have broken/old/unused eye glasses at home? We are collecting them for Vision Aid Overseas

10th May 2018

Vision Aid Overseas works to ensure that everyone, regardless of their gender, economic status and geographical location, has access to affordable eye care services and glasses. We're lucky, If we need glasses we can pop down to Specsavers!

We believe that everyone, everywhere should have access to affordable eye care.

Vision Aid recycle donated second-hand glasses for their precious metal content (gold frames) and any retro or vintage glasses are sold on our eBay shop or to specialist buyers.
They also recycle plastic glasses. The income generated through the recycling process enables them to deliver sustainable eye care services and clinics in Africa.

So let's work together; have a rummage around kitchen drawers and handbags and give us your old glasses. Why not get your family and friends to have a clear out too. It won't cost you a penny to help someone have their sight improved or even restored. Every pair counts.

Collection box in school foyer for donations of old glasses.  Thank You!!
