Adaptive Learning in P3 π₯ π©βπ»
We are delighted to have hosted our P3 parent session, where we shared information about the Amira Adaptive Learning & Times Tables Rockstars programmes we will be using in school to support literacy and numeracy πβ
These programmes are strongly research-based, and we are excited to be part of this initiative this year π
As discussed during the session, we kindly ask that children spend:
β±οΈ 5-10 minutes on the maths aspect each homework night
π 15–20 minutes on the literacy aspect each homework night
We understand there may be some teething problems as we get started, and please be reassured that we are here to support you every step of the way π€
We also recognise that some parents have concerns about screen time π§ and we share those concerns.
However, programme usage is carefully managed to ensure children are engaged in purposeful learning, not excessive screen use, which is why we have set clear time boundaries π»β
Logins will be sent home next week π
If you have any questions about the Amira programme or would like to discuss anything further, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline, who will liaise with your child’s teacher π
