Advice for Parents of P6 children - THE TRANSFER PROCESS TO POST-PRIMARY SCHOOL
As has been the practice over the last number of years, the Department has produced an advice leaflet on the post-primary transfer process for parents of children in P6. The purpose of this leaflet is to ensure that parents receive timely information about the range of issues they need to take into account when making important decisions about the next stage in their child’s education.
All primary schools will receive copies of the leaflet in January. The leaflet is also available to download from the Department’s website at
