Animated Drawings in P4 🎨 🖥

There was a real buzz in Mr. Perry’s classroom this week as the Primary 4’s saw their own doodles literally jump off the page. Using the Animated Drawings tool, the kids didn’t just make art; they became mini-animators. You could see the sheer concentration on their faces as they learned to "map out" their characters—carefully dragging digital joints onto their drawings to make sure their characters would move realistically. It took a lot of patience and fine motor control to get those points just right, but the payoff was worth it. It’s a brilliant way to show the class how a bit of tech can turn a simple sketch into something magical, all while teaching them the basics of how digital characters are actually built.
