A selection of our P6 & P7 pupils recently participated in the Belfast Schools Cross Country Championships, in partnership with the Education Authority Belfast Region.
Schools were invited to enter eight competitors in each race in a regional heat knockout which took place during April and May. Winners of the heats qualified for the final which took place on Thursday 9th May.
We are delighted to announce that one of our P7 pupils, Aimee, came FIRST in the competition and lifted the cup for our school!
Aimee is an excellent ambassador for St. Joseph’s PS both on and off the sports field and we are truly proud of her achievements. She turns up to all Netball, Gaelic and Cross Country training sessions come hail, rain or shine and gives her all each and every time.
