Cross curricular learning in P2 🪺

🪺 In our Sunshine Room, we had lots of fun making chocolate bird nest buns to celebrate Easter. The children followed a simple step-by-step procedure, beginning with melting the chocolate, then adding and mixing in the rice crispies, before carefully shaping their nests and decorating them with mini eggs. This activity supported learning across the curriculum, particularly in The World Around Us through exploring change in materials, Mathematics and Numeracy through measuring and sequencing, and Language and Literacy by following instructions and discussing each stage of the process.✍️📚
