Education Welfare - Attendance Matters ⚠️

16th Feb 2026
Our Education Welfare Officer will be returning to school next week to begin another six-week attendance audit. We are asking for your continued support in keeping attendance and punctuality as high as possible.

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please send Caroline Morelli a WhatsApp (07929711746)  before 8:45 a.m. on the morning of their absence, clearly stating:

Your child’s full name

The reason for absence

Their class teacher

We are required to record all absences accurately.

When children are off school, they miss valuable learning experiences, class discussions and time with their friends. Of course, we fully understand that when children are genuinely unwell, they need to be at home resting and recovering.

As the brighter evenings arrive and the weather begins to improve, we know some families may plan short weekend breaks, visits to caravans, or trips to see family and friends further away. We kindly ask that children do not have extended weekends during term time. Regular attendance helps every child stay on track, maintain progress and feel confident in their learning.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support 💫  together, we can ensure the very best outcomes for all of our children.
