Dear Parent/guardians
We are pleased to announce a celebratory refreshment event immediately after the First Communion in the school for our P4 pupils and families. We will have a top table set up for the P4 children and other tables throughout the hall for families. Platters of sandwiches and drinks will be made available for everyone attending. If you would like to join us we would ask that a donation of £10 be paid for each First Communion child to cover the cost of family refreshments. The money should be placed in an envelope with your child’s name clearly marked on the front and given to your child’s teacher. The school also supplies celebration foods and goods on the day.
We have also organised a photographer to take the official First Communion photos on the day of the First Communion.
The class photo will be taken on the altar in The Cathedral before the children process down the aisle. Parents are welcome to photograph the children as they pose on the altar.
The photographer will then set up a studio in the Key Stage 2 computer Area for private individual/family photos.
If you decide not to attend the refreshment event in the school hall then please feel free to come to the school and have your child’s photograph taken by the official school photographer. We hope to have as many of you as possible attend the school celebration as it is an opportunity for the Frist Communion children, staff, parish community family and friends come together to celebrate.
