Gaelic Games with Gaelfast 🏐

9th Mar 2026
🏐 Our children were out today developing their Gaelic football skills as they practised the important technique of kick passing! ⚽👏

A kick pass in Gaelic football is when a player kicks the ball from their hands to a teammate to move the ball quickly up the field. It’s one of the most important skills in the game and helps teams keep possession and create scoring opportunities.

Our children worked hard to perfect their technique, focusing on dropping the ball onto the foot, keeping their eyes on the ball, and aiming their pass towards a teammate. There was great teamwork, determination and plenty of brilliant effort on display!

Well done to all of our young players who showed fantastic enthusiasm while building their confidence and skills. The future of Gaelic football is looking bright! ⭐⚽💚 Gaelfast Belfast City Council Queen's University Belfast
