GET CODING, GET CREATIVE, HAVE FUN

A lot of children and young people are missing the coding activities they participate
in at school or with local Code Clubs or CoderDojos. To keep the fun going, and to
encourage the continuation and development of coding skills we are launching a
Time to Code coding competition in partnership with Allstate NI.


What you’ll need to do
To get involved in the competition you will need
create a project in Scratch that includes
demonstration of the following skills:
• Use of multiple sprites
• Use of movement
• Use of sound
• Game/Quiz element
To take part you need to fit into one of the two
categories below:
Category One – P4/P5 pupils
Category One pupils will develop a Scratch project
around the theme of “I Am Happy When”
Category Two – P6/P7 pupils
Category Two pupils will develop a Scratch project
around the theme of “My COVID/Pandemic Hero”
Timelines
Competition opens on: 22 February 2021
Closes: at 5.00pm on 22 March 2021
Winners: announced on 31 March 2021
How to Enter
When the project is finished, please create a link
to the project in Scratch and submit the link to
ANIForceforGood@allstate.com
