Healthy Eating in Year 1 🍎 🍌 🍓

24th Feb 2025

Fruit Kebabs and Fun in Year One!

In Year One, we love making learning fun and hands-on! As part of our focus on healthy eating and food preparation, our children create delicious fruit kebabs, exploring a variety of fruits—including some they may not have tried before. This activity not only reinforces the importance of making healthy food choices but also helps develop their fine motor skills.

But our fruit kebab adventure doesn’t stop there! The children take pride in sharing their creations with teachers and staff around the school. This special experience helps them build confidence, social skills, and a sense of community, preparing them for the years ahead. Watching their excitement as they interact with others and share their healthy treats is a joy to see!
