International Women's Day 🌎

6th Mar 2026
👧Happy International Women's Day. Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them. 💐International Women’s Day is a time to recognise and celebrate the achievements, strength, and resilience of women across the world. 🌍💜

It is important that we shine a light on women on this day, not only to celebrate how far society has come, but also to reflect on the work that still needs to be done to ensure equality, opportunity, and respect for all. Women continue to make incredible contributions in education, leadership, science, sport, communities, and within families every single day.

For our children, days like this are important learning opportunities. They help them understand the value of fairness, respect, and equality, and they allow us to highlight the inspiring women who have shaped our world and continue to do so today.

By recognising International Women’s Day, we encourage our young people to believe in their potential, support one another, and work towards a future where everyone has the same opportunities to succeed. ✨💪
