Dear Parents/Guardians

At the end of lunch time today, a member of the public, walking up the Grosvenor Road, past our school, was observed taking photos or videoing through the school railings.  This occurred whilst the Year 5 to 7 children were nearing the end of their lunch time play.  Staff ensured children were escorted safely back into class.

This information and our CCTV has been forwarded to the PSNI.

Your child’s safety is of paramount concern to us all in St Joseph’s.  We have a strict policy surrounding photographing/videoing children.  This person certainly did not have our permission to video/take photos of our children/school. 

Please talk to your child about Stranger Danger.  Staff have been instructed to reinforce this message with children in school.
