Moon investigations ☪ 🚀

5th Oct 2023
🚀Why does the moon have craters? Ask our budding scientists in Primary 3. We recently carried out an experiment where we made our own meteorites (of varying size) and dropped them from a height. We investigated the size of the craters and how this correlates with the size of each meteoroid. We could make predictions and create a fair test. It was so much fun, and the amazing scientific language used by the children was so impressive! We really are 'out of this world' 🚀#qub Queen's University Belfast NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration
