We were honoured to host the Mayor of Cork last Friday to conclude our Nurture week celebrations.
Lord Mayor Tony Fitzgerald had a fantastic morning meeting our children and staff as we showcased our wonderful school. He got to see first hand why we were awarded the National Nurturing Schools Award. The day ended with a whole school disco; the teachers were given yet another opportunity to show off their dancing skills and humiliate themselves in front of our entire pupil population. Mr McCann again led the team in the slush and the jitterbug.....what's that I hear you ask..... Mr Fryers recommends that you go and ask your granny! Good times!
