💙 Supporting Mary’s Meals – Together We Made a Difference 💙
During Lent, our school community came together to support Mary’s Meals, a wonderful charity that provides food to some of the most vulnerable children in the world. Their mission is simple but powerful — to ensure that no child goes hungry while learning.
The initiative came about after some of our children heard about Mary's Meals during Sunday Mass Saint Peter's Cathedral Parish Belfast. They were so moved by the message that they brought the idea back to school, asking if we could take part and help support this important cause.
Every day throughout Lent, our pupils had the chance to buy ballots to win Easter eggs in our weekly draw. This small act of kindness quickly turned into something truly incredible.
We are absolutely delighted to share that we have raised a phenomenal £1,770 to support the life-changing work of Mary’s Meals! 🌍🍽️
Thank you to every child, parent, and member of our school family who took part. Together, we have helped provide meals — and hope — to children who need it most. 💛
