🍎👩🍳 Our Year 2s have been busy making apple crumble 🥧 a perfect way to bring learning to life! Through this activity, the children used Numeracy (weighing and measuring ingredients), Literacy (following instructions and writing about their experience), and World Around Us (learning about where food comes from and healthy eating).
A huge thank you to our P2 team, who helped our Primary 2s harvest apples from our very own orchard last week. 🌳 This enrichment activity has given our children the chance to experience the journey of food “from farm to fork” 🍴 🚜 right from the orchard to the classroom.
