We read the story ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’ in The Sunshine Room and then followed a procedure to make our very own Lighthouse Sandwiches!!! Why not have a go at home. You will need: two slices of bread, butter, cheese, ham, tomatoes, lettuce, chopping board, knife and cocktail sticks. First you butter the bread. After that you put the cheese, ham, tomatoes and lettuce on top of one slice of bread. Then you put the second piece of bread on top. Next you cut the sandwich into 4 triangles. Finally you stack the triangles on top of each other to make a ‘lighthouse’ sandwich. Enjoy your lighthouse sandwich!
