Guidance for Parents/Guardians – First Penance Date: March 6th, 2026 Time: 11:00am (please be seated by 10:45am)
Children will come to school as normal at 8:45am and walk to the chapel with their teachers and assistants.
Children will be seated with their class at the front of the chapel.
Parents and families to be seated by 10:45am.
Rows directly behind the children will be labelled with each child’s name for one adult. This adult will accompany the child to the altar for their First Confession and wait there until the child is finished.
After their confession, the child will return to the adult for a big hug, and together they will walk back to their seats. Staff will be on hand to guide you through the process.
All other family members may sit in the unallocated seating areas of the chapel.
Children will go home after the service.
