Primary 4 have started the new school year working hard and becoming number detectives! 🕵️♀️🔢
We have been exploring lots of clever strategies to help us with addition and subtraction!
We used doubles to make quick calculations, 10 frames to really see how the numbers fit together, solved problems using bar models and broke numbers apart with part-part- whole models. We now know that there’s more than money way to solve a maths problem! ✏️➕
