We took our literacy focus outside and followed directions to our local Spar shop (proud sponsors of our annual sports day), through our school community and back to class again. We identified the imperative verbs in the directions and the main features of the instructions. We stopped off in our reading garden for a healthy snack and a story when we returned. 🏃♀️📚✏ #outdoors #learning #mentalhealth
