P6 dig with Queen's University πͺ¨π
24th Apr 2026
πͺ¨πWhat a fantastic day for our P6 pupils at their archaeological dig with Queen's University Belfast! πΊπ
The children had an amazing hands-on experience exploring the past, carefully uncovering artefacts and learning real excavation techniques just like professional archaeologists π·βοΈπͺ¨. There was great excitement as they discovered pieces of flint, pottery, and other hidden treasures beneath the ground!
This was a brilliant opportunity to bring their learning to life, sparking curiosity and teamwork while developing a deeper understanding of history and The World Around Us πβ¨.
Well done, P6 π future archaeologists in the making! ππ
