Applying to post primary school - The portal will open at 12noon on 1st Feb. Please expect the system to be very busy the first few hours, this is normal.
- It is essential that parents take their time filling in the details of their chosen schools.
- Parents should choose atleast 4 schools.
- Please do not think that by choosing only one school that this will enhance your child's chances of getting into that school, IT WILL NOT; a number of children were unplaced last year due to parents only picking one school.
- It is essential that you read the criteria for each school carefully and record on the electronic form all of the points that relate to your child (with dates/names etc as requested)
- Please use the time before the portal opens to review the admissions criteria for the schools you are interested in.
