P7 - Busy weeks & months ahead

1st Feb 2018

Dear Parent/guardian

Our Year 7 children have now less than 5 months remaining with us and we are endeavouring to make this time as memorable for them as possible.

We have a busy teaching schedule ahead and it is vitally important that your child attends for school every day. We have had to make an adjustment to our mid-term break and also our upcoming residential as we have just had the date confirmed for our P7 leavers play.

Changes –

Children now in school on Tues 8th May (not off as originally planned). They will now be Off on Thurs 24th May (the mid-term break at the end of May is now Thurs 24th - 29th May included. All children will now return to school on Wednesday 30th May.

P7 Play – we are delighted to be working with Playwright and director Peter Morgan Barnes to help us write and produce our play. The theme will be based on The Belfast Mills. We will be working with Blackmountain Primary School for an intense 2-week period commencing on Tuesday 8th May and concluding on Monday 14th May. We will have 2 performances of our play on Friday 11th May at 6pm & Monday 14th May at 7pm.

P7 Residential the date has now changed to accommodate rehearsal schedule of play – new date Monday 21st May departing school at 8.30am – Tuesday 22nd May return to school @5.15pm

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.

Miss Weir
