Play based learning in P1 📚🚀

16th Sep 2024

All schools across the North of Ireland participate in the Play-based learning Curriculum in the infant years. The focus is on young children learning through play, which encourages creativity, exploration, and social interaction. It allows children to engage in hands-on activities that develop key skills in language, numeracy, problem-solving, and emotional development. This approach fosters a child-centered environment where learning is driven by curiosity and guided by teachers to align with educational goals. It helps build confidence, communication skills, and a love for learning in early years settings.
