🌟 Welcome to Our New Primary 1 Families! 🌟 It was wonderful to welcome the parents of our new Primary 1 children to our induction meeting this morning. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and to meet lots of new families who will be joining our school community in September. 😊

Over the next few weeks, we are excited to meet our newest pupils as they begin their transition to primary school. Children attending our parish nurseries will be visiting us for special Stay and Play sessions with their new classmates and teachers. 🎨📚

If your child does not attend a parish nursery, it is important that they attend our planned Stay and Play session next THURSDAY at 9:30am, where they will have the opportunity to meet their new teacher, new friends and become familiar with their new surroundings. 🏫✨

As we prepare for this exciting new chapter, we would like to remind parents that good attendance and punctuality are essential foundations for learning success. ⏰⭐

We also encourage families to support their child's independence skills over the summer. Simple tasks such as:

✔️ Using the toilet independently

✔️ Dressing and undressing themselves

✔️ Managing coats and shoes

✔️ Eating independently

will help make the transition to school as smooth and positive as possible. Please also remember to label all items of school uniform. 🏷️👕

Starting school is a very special milestone for both children and parents. We look forward to working together to ensure every child feels happy, confident and ready to learn when they begin their Primary 1 journey with us in September. ❤️🌈
