Real world experiences to support learning 🛒

🛍🛒Our Sunshine Children enjoyed a trip to our local SPAR to buy the ingredients for our breakfast. The children helped write a shopping list, brought shopping bags and enough money to pay for everything we needed. They were excited to take turns paying, practising real-life skills and beginning to understand how money works. The outing also supported their social development, as they worked together, took turns and chatted confidently. It was a fun, hands-on experience that helped bring our learning to life.
