Sacrament of Confirmation 🌟

10th Feb 2023

We ask St Joseph & St Peter to protect and guide our children as they receive their Sacrament of Confirmation and prepare to leave us for post primary school. 🙏

Our Confirmation display is complete (Great job Miss Wilson 👏)

Wishing our P7s and their families a wonderful day 💐 Thank you to our entire P7 staff team for preparing our children for their sacrament

What is Confirmation? In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptised person is"sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

Confirmation is a Sacrament in the Catholic Church in which the one who is confirmed (confirmandi) receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the imposition of hand and anointing with oils by the bishop or priest. It is considered a sacrament of initiation which means that it brings you deeper into communion with the Church.
