Next week is Safer Internet Week 🌐💻 and in school we regularly teach our children how to stay safe online.
While we do all we can during the school day 🏫, online safety is a shared responsibility. We kindly ask parents and carers to work alongside us at home 🏠🤝 by monitoring online activity and having regular conversations about safe and respectful use of the internet.
Please also be mindful that social media platforms have age restrictions 📱🚫. Primary school children are often not emotionally ready to manage comments, messages, or online interactions that may come from sharing content online. Waiting until children are the appropriate age helps protect their wellbeing 💙.
