Signs of summer in Year 2🌞

🌞 💐Year 2 enjoyed a summer walk and discovered lots of signs that summer has arrived. Using four of their senses, they explored their surroundings and talked about and recorded what they could see, smell, feel and hear along the way. They spotted bees and butterflies buzzing around colourful flowers, smelt freshly cut grass and enjoyed noticing all the wonderful changes that summer brings. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore nature and appreciate the season around them.
