In ‘The Sunshine Room’ our new topic is ‘In the Garden!’ We are learning about plants, flowers and mini-beasts. Last week we read the story of ‘The Bad Tempered Ladybird’ by Eric Carle. In this story The bad-tempered ladybird picks fights with all the animals it meets. By the end of the story the bad-tempered ladybird realises that it is much better when you are in a good mood. This morning we had a craft session with Ihintz, from the Whiterock Children’s Centre, our parents and children making some very bad-tempered ladybirds using paper plates, felt, paint, pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes and glue!!!
