Thinking of returning to Education? Aisling Bursaries now open, up to £1000 funding.

16th Apr 2019

Go to www.westbelfast-partnership.com/ See bottom of web page for 2019 application

The Aisling Bursaries – an initiative of the West Belfast Partnership Board and the Andersonstown News – have contributed £450,000 to assist nearly 500 third level students pursue their educational dream. Bursary sponsors contribute £1,000 for each bursary and recipients are chosen from hundreds of applications.

Some of our parents have successfully been awarded Aisling bursaries which enabled them to continue/return to education. They are now training as Classroom Assistants and will be ready to enter the workforce in the next academic year! We have trained over 30 parents/members of the community over the last 15 years and are delighted when we reconnect with them as we attend meetings in schools across the city.

See Caroline for support & advice if you are thinking about a career in education!
