Transform NI - the new curriculum for ALL schools across the North

We want to take a moment to update you on an important development in education across ALL schools in the North – the Transforming Education initiative, also known as Transform NI.

This is a significant effort led by the Department of Education to ensure the school system across the North is sustainable, inclusive, and equipped to meet the needs of all children now and in the future. As part of this process ALL schools  are being encouraged to reflect on how we deliver education and how we can work together with others to provide the very best opportunities for every child.

At our school, we are already taking steps to prepare for this change by:

Reviewing how we use our resources to ensure long-term sustainability.

Continuing to build an inclusive and welcoming environment for all pupils.

Providing opportunities for increased collaboration with other schools to enrich learning.

Keeping our focus firmly on raising standards and supporting every child’s potential.

We want to reassure you that while Transform NI may bring changes to how education is structured in some areas, our commitment to your child’s learning, well-being, and development remains our top priority.
