Volume, weight & capacity 🪣

8th May 2025
⚖️ 🪣 P1 have been exploring measures. We have learned lots about capacity, volume and weight 🌟Parents can support classroom learning on volume, weight, and capacity through simple, hands-on activities at home. Involve your child in cooking by letting them pour liquids into measuring cups or weigh ingredients on a kitchen scale. Use everyday objects like blocks or water bottles to compare weights and volumes, encouraging your child to describe which is heavier or holds more. Bath time can also be a great opportunity to explore measuring using cups and containers of different sizes. These fun, practical experiences help reinforce key concepts and build confidence in early math skills.
