🏗 Our Primary One children enjoyed a fantastic World Around Us learning experience today when a huge crane arrived to remove our temporary mobiles from the front of the school 🚧🏗️
What an incredible real-life lesson! This impromptu session gave our teachers the perfect opportunity to talk about engineering, construction, and the important jobs people do on building sites. The children learned about cranes, trucks and other vehicles working together, and discussed how engineers carefully plan and lift heavy objects safely.
There were lots of wide eyes and excited faces as the crane hoisted the mobiles high into the sky before carefully lowering them onto waiting trucks below. It was wonderful to see such curiosity, questioning and excitement in action!
Learning truly comes alive when we can see it happening right in front of us. What a memorable morning for our youngest pupils! 🚛✨
