Our P5 classes recently participated in an Our City programme with our friends in Young Enterprise. The children examined the vital features of what makes up a city and the different zones or areas where activities take place such as banking, shopping, restaurants and business. The hope is that by learning about elements such as construction, housing, finance and careers that they begin to recognise the important part their own education can play in determining their future employment.
